My visit to the Palmetum

Me and the class went to the Palmetum on the 14th of May. We went because we were learning about plants. We learnt that there can be trees from South Australia in Townsville. Some of us saw insects like a ladybug and a butterfly. My group went to the Rainforest,Wetlands and Savannah. When we went to the Savannah we saw cacti and there was more than one kind. In the Wetlands there were many lillies. When we through the Rainforest, the trees were blocking the sun. We went because we wanted to see plants in different environments. We learnt that plants can have bigger leaves in the bottom of the Rainforest because there is  hardly any sun at the bottom level of the Rainforest.
