Virginia Park Cattle Station

Thursday 29th October
We got on the bus to leave for the cattle station. The bus was terrific. It had arm rests, foot rests, a holder to hold your things and it had the most comfortable chairs. It was magnificent. The bad thing was we had to go on the bus for about ninety minutes. When we got there we went straight to work with our bush walk, collecting fire wood for the bonfire at night/nine o`clock. Then we started our orientations. Before we did that our helpers introduced themselves. They were Rob, John, Sue, Lisa and Tanya. Group One first did orienteering, then horse riding and last but not least swimming. Group two first did horse ridding, then swimming to cool us off and orienteering. Group three first did swimming, then orienteering and then horse riding. I was in group two with Eliza, Olivia, Anouska, Taznim, Claudia, Siddant, Chandler, Oliver, Nicole, Josh H, Floyd, Brendan, Lucy, Laura and Dong won. John, Brendan's dad took us down to the horses and their names are Response, Tom and Stella. Stella is small and is just in learning how to be ridden so we did not get to ride him. Instead we rode Response and Tom. When I was on top of Response I felt so tall because Response was a taller horse and we only got to go on one horse so it was quite a hard decision. I am not joking. Next we went swimming and pool was so green and because of that Tasnim did not go in and when you went lower and lower it got greener and greener and that made it scarier. Then we went orienteering and people said it was hot. We had to walk four hunderd metres up a hill and we had to walk just about everywhere.
